About the project
Located in Texas, this loft was once an industrial building that was repurposed for housing. Despite the exposed piping and HVAC, the space is charming and cozy. The client had a love for earth tones with pops of color, which is reflected in the warm and inviting design. The keyword for this space is texture, with everything meant to be touched and enjoyed. From the industrial stair railing to the natural textures found in the furniture, the design emphasizes the importance of texture in creating a comfortable and welcoming space.
The biophilic design includes accent chairs in bright colors that add a pop of vibrancy to the earthy color scheme. The use of natural materials and textures throughout the space also helps to bring the outdoors in, creating a sense of harmony and tranquility. The result is a space that feels both cozy and inviting, with an emphasis on tactile experiences that invite exploration and enjoyment.
